Swift shared her latest album, ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’, back in October, and made ‘Opalite’ the record’s second single earlier this month with a star-studded music video. Now, she’s revealed that an EDM remix of the track, courtesy of English producer Lake, is on its way.
It turns out that the singer’s fiancé, Kelce, is behind the new version. An Instagram post shared by Lake shows he DM’d the NFL player, saying: “Heard you and Taylor were listening to my tracks… I’m going to take a crack at remixing this track for her.”
Kelce quickly responded, calling Lake a “legend” and saying his Coachella set was one of his favourites “of all time”.
“Can’t wait to see how you put it together man,” Kelce added.
Soon after, Lake sent over a remix, to which Kelce replied: “It’s so good dawg, I’m gonna be rippin this shit every car ride!!” He also let Lake know that the remix was Swift-approved, adding: “She loves it too!! She said her teams gonna reach out asap!”
Kelce then commented on the post, saying: “The collab yall didn’t even know yall needed!!”, while Swift re-shared the post on her Instagram story, writing: “Confirmed, Travis is my in-house house guy.”
A release date for the remix has yet to be revealed.

‘Opalite’ was brought to life earlier this month with new visuals written and directed by Swift, which boasted a star-studded cast including TV host Graham Norton, Domhnall Gleeson, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, Lewis Capaldi, and Cillian Murphy.
She’s also shared a two-part extended cut with behind-the-scenes footage from the video, where she reveals details on how she came up with the video idea while appearing on The Graham Norton Show.
The extended version is currently only available to watch on Apple Music, Tidal, Spotify and Amazon Music.
After being released in October 2025, it was later confirmed that ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ was the best-selling album of that year in the UK. The milestone made her the first artist to have the top seller in consecutive years for different albums since ABBA in 1977.
Since then, the singer became the youngest female artist to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame.
NME gave ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ three stars, writing: “To seek escapism is not a sin, but the best pop music makes the personal feel like life or death. ‘Speak Now’, ‘Reputation’, ‘Folklore’: her greatest works could be genuinely transformative. For the first time, ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ sees Swift not catalysed into artistic growth by love, but merely comfortably secured by it.”
Last year, Swift released a six-part docuseries on Disney+, The End Of An Era, last month. The show documented the making of her record-breaking, global ‘Eras Tour’, and arrived alongside the concert film The Final Show.
